A two-year old Indonesian kid has been addicted to smoke since his father gave him a puff when he was 18 months. Rizal who puffs 40 cigarettes a day insist of the same brand which cost his not so rich family additional £3.78 a day on top of their budget. This kid who throws a tantrum when not given cigarettes does not even look like a 2 year old anymore, does he.

It was brought up in media when a reporter witnessed this young boy smoke and eventually visits his home in the fishing village of Musi Banyuasin, in Indonesia's South Sumatra province.

Hair Care Tips

Hair Loss Prevention

I was just blog hopping late this afternoon and I came accross this beautiful hair care tips which may be helpful to both guys and gals.

1.  Hair should not be combed when dry.  I am guilty of this,  instead of just letting it dry naturally, i combed it right away and I head on the door to rush to work.  This is how i am especially now that I am already a mom. Maybe its time for me think twice about my hair.

2.  Select a comb with a serrated rare. If you use a scarf or hat to wear, you should comb your hair first. This will make your hair more neatly maintained well can blood circulation in the head.  (I am not really doing this,  so no impact on me.)

3.  Avoid using hair dryers, but nowadays, most often women are using hair iron.   If you do not have an option not to use it, use it in a low tempature and be mindful of the distance of the dryer from your hair and scalp.  Tolerable distance according to the blog I stumble upon is from 10-15cm from your hair shaft.

4. When sleeping, do not tie or clamp your hair.  This can make your hair brittle and less chances of growing.

5.  Using hat, umbrella or scarf will protect your hair from the damaging sun.  This will help you maintain hair moisture as well.

6. Changing hair parts is also a healthy practice in addition to being fashionable.  The longer your part is, its giving your scalp more exposure and more chances of having hair fall.

7.  "Perform special treatment on the hair at least once a minimum of two weeks. Do creambat activities, masks and hair spa to beautify and nourish your hair." Another thing I am not very much expose.  All I do with my hair is shampoo and combing.

Moon-Venus alignment forms 'smiley face'

MANILA, Philippines - Stargazers were treated to a rare celestial show on Sunday evening as the planet Venus aligned with a crescent moon, forming what online users described as a "smiley face."
The rare phenomenon, called an occultation, happened because the crescent Moon was poised directly between Venus and the Earth, according to a Press Trust of India news agency report.
The last time this took place in Asia was in June 2007, and the next one will reportedly be on June 30, 2011.

The sky show was observed in parts of Southeast Asia a few hours after local sunset.
Larry Sessions of EarthSky.org, a forum and blogging community for scientists and science enthusiasts, said it is "not unusual for the moon to appear to pass close to Venus" since this happens about once a month.
However, the occurrence seen on May 16 (Sunday) is said to be rare because these events "are only visible in the evening sky half the time and then only for a short period after sunset."
"The apparent closeness varies from month to month as well," Sessions stated. He said North Americans will not experience an occultation of Venus until August 13, 2012.

BLOG BLOG BLOG .... blag blag blag

nag try ako magbasa-basa kung pano ginagawa ng SEO at kung ano ang ibig sabihin ng meta tags, pero Lord, hindi ko talaga maintindihan.  i even asked if i can have someone do it on my blog, nagulat ako when they told me it may cost me Php 65,000.00. wow, gusto ko sana ng extra income kaya ko try mag blog, kaso mukhang extra expense ang makukuha ko.

ang entry kong ito ay isang panawagan, sa ibang magagaling ng magblog jan at masasabing may magandang kita,  share your blessings naman.....and I will really appreciate it, deeply.

eto ang aking mga inspirasyon sa buhay, Rey and Gab on his first birthday at Villa Cristina Resort in Antipolo City.

my voting experience

That very recent post i just had few minutes ago was posted by my friend blogger I am Jammed in December of last year. It was a nice entry to help us think as early as December who should win our only vote.

Sad to admit, I am not a registered voter, not ever in my entire life i experienced voting, except during my high school and college days when i need to vote for class officers or Student Council.

It a mixed of emotions being a non-registered voter.  Yes, this one vote of mine could make a lot of change, i definitely aggree with that.  Though I am still thankful I am not a registered voter because I never give a chance to corrupt officials to abuse my only one vote when i am able to, hello flying and ghost voters.

Reason why, you maybe full of why's now, hehe.  Here your go, I never had a permanent home, that's ever since high school days, so I wouldn't know where I should register.  I used to stay in Bicol and Tondo, during my highschool days.  In college, I lived with my Aunt in Tondo, but everytime voter's registration is open, I am in Bicol and every time is election day I am in Manila. After my college days, I stayed in Cavite, Muntinlupa and Tondo, I go where ever I feeling like going provided I have relatives in the place who will accomodate me.

During my married years, I lived in  Antipolo, that's for more or less two years, but now, we just recently moved here in Cavite. Had I registered in Antipolo before, it will so far for me to cast my vote, imagine travelling all the way from Cavite to Antipolo and after that going to work in Makati.  Yes! I have work on election day, our office caters to UK Customers and its not their holiday, therefore we have work, work, work....

By the way, you ever thought I would settle in Antipolo and register myself there, I have not.  Because the house me and husband bought was in Laguna, and we have plans of moving there in the future....that's when we have na our own car haha, dream on!!!

You may find me an irresponsible citizen, you may say and think whatever you feel like, leave a post here or send me an email.  I will really appreciate your criticisms and I am open for that. I am just hopeful that the time will come where we can cast our votes anywhere we are so i can have myself registered as a voter.....
