An extremely nice story to share.

I just wanted to share this beautiful story to everyone.   Many times, I have encountered this. It was sent to me via email many times and now I have just encountered it again on one of the blogs I am following.

Everytime I get to read this, it feels like I am always reading a new story that I can never forget. Hope you will like it as well

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay, for his hungry stomach, decided he would ask for a meal at the next house.

On his way to school, he found he had only one thin dime left and he was very hungry.

However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water.

The woman thought he looked hungry, so brought him a large glass of milk.

He drank it slowly, and then asked, 'How much do I owe you?' 'You don't owe me anything,' she replied. 'Mother has taught us, never to accept "pay" for a kindness.'

He said...'Then I thank you from my heart.'

Year's later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease.

Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes.  Check my friend's blog.

Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once.

He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life, from that day he gave special attention to the case.

After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval.

He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room.

The woman feared opening it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all.

Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill. She read these words...

'Paid in full with one glass of milk.' Signed, Dr.Howard Kelly.

Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: Thank You, God, that Your love has spread abroad through human hearts and hands.'

Now you have two choices.

You can send this page on and spread a positive message. Or ignore it and pretend it never touched your heart.

Carol

Now heres a substantial entry after that boredom killing post I made just a few hours ago.

After Ester's immediate trip to our hometown in Bicol, I got one of my cousin's daughter at home, Carol. I was lucky enough because her mother allowed her to stay with us to look after Gab when I am not at home.   I almost felt it was the end my job when I was not able to get a nanny over the weekend to cover Ester for Gab.  There were few instances I was telling Rey that I will leave my job if we don't have anyone to look after Gab when we are at work.

Now, I feel blessed again because it's going to be Carol who will look after Gab, shes one of my cousin's daughter so its still family, not somebody else we do not know  and from some place not known to us.

It took several days before Gab gets comfortable with Carol. Most of the time, he will cry and let us get him from Carol whenever he will see me or Rey.  Last Monday, we were like crazy hiding away from him  all day. Carol will take him to the room and we will hide from him at the tarrace. Or Rey will bring his laptop downstairs and never come up in the room so that Gab will not see him.  Even when he hear our voices he will look around hoping to see us.  It was a crazy day and I missed him so much even if we were all at home.  I would wait when he gets to sleep and thats when I will lay beside him, hug him and kiss him.

But now, Gab and Carol gets along well.  He does not cry anymore even when he see us around the house  and he is with Carol.  Thank God we have Carol.

What to do when you are bored at work.......

What to do when you are bored at work.......

1. Kill a few Flies.

2. Put them under the sun to dry for one hour.

3. Once they are dry, pick a pencil and paper... Let your imagination flow.

4. Here are a few examples...
