Toys for my boys

Believe it or not, Rey is no different to so many guys who loves to play games just like kids do. It was few years ago when he convinced me to buy PSP to add to his few collection of PS1 and PS2.  PS3 was not yet in the market back then but I think if during that time PS3 is already in the market he would choose to have it over his PSP.

This toy never missed going to his office with him.  It was like its part of his office-thingy that needs to be inside his back pack everyday.  He will not come back when he's left his packed lunch  unintentionally, but he will come running back to the door upon realization that he left this toy somewhere at home.

When I asked him why he got the mint green colored PSP instead of a black or blue, he told me that it would also look good on me if I'm the one using it.  Thank you dear for being thoughtful but I'd rather watch you playing!

Now that xbox slim is out in the market, I wonder when he will add it to his collection.  I am sure Gab would love that as well and they will both enjoy playing.  On the side, I will love to watch them play instead of me struggling my best to learn the game.

Nothing wrong about these toys for me, its just that I am not really good at it.  I had a hard time learning the Super Mario on our old Nintendo and I don't care if you find me funny.  I think this one is so beautiful  Rey and Gab would love to have.

The Engineer

My husband Rey is works as an engineer, they put up buildings.  He's been in this job rather vocation for almost a decade and does not think of shifting to another field.  I think he enjoys it.   Sometimes I thought of him like a child, appreciating the buildings he contributed to be built like a very nice toy.   And there are times that he would really request to visit and take a look at those buildings especially when we are just within the area where he worked before.

McKinley Park Residence - Global City
Look at this one, this the McKinley Park Residence in Global City Taguig. This is first condo unit they built.  This is where he was assigned when he first become a father.

At a very young age, my son showed interest playing lego and building blocks.   I wonder if he knows that his father works to build buildings or its just something he finds fun to play with.  If Gab becomes an engineer as well, I wonder if its still buildings out of cement he will build or steel buildings.  Look at  how he enjoy with his lego.

Binoculars

When I was a child, I thought binoculars are merely toys.  My grandmother would buy me  binoculars made of plastics that I could play with my playmates.  It comes in different lovely colors.   I didn't realize that there is something like steiner binoculars that is actually for professional use.

I am not very good in explaining but I as look at the picture, it's very obvious that it's created by  great minds. History claims that Phoenicians cooking on sand were the first to discover glass at around 3500 BCE.
Binoculars is an optical instrument used to magnify view of distant objects. Compared to a telescope a binocular has two identical telescopes for both eyes that is mounted on a single frame. The very first binocular telescope was invented by J.P. Lemiere in 1825.
